Jeff, and some of the new life on the farm

In 2002 a connection was made between Ann Arbor families and a farmer in Grass Lake. Since then, we've enjoyed having a cow share and benefiting from the unprocessed raw milk from our cows, and more. Jeff Boyer has opened his farm to this unique way of farming, Hermione Gorney has made regular trips from her nearby horse farm to deliver the milk, and a number of Ann Arbor area families have enjoyed the result.

The idea is simple. To participate you must buy a share of a cow, pay room and board, and receive a share of the milk that is produced. The product is clean, carefully prepared unpasteurized and unhomogenized milk that can be used as is, made into yogurt, cheese, kefir, sour cream, butter, curds and whey, and more.
